This interlayer is placed between the sheets of glass and then bonded together. (autoclaved at high pressure and temperature, utilizing vacuum de airing process) This PVB interlayer prevents the glass sheets from shattering when broken.

Laminated glass is usually used when there is a possibility of human impact or specific requirements.
Car windscreens are a good example of the performance of laminated glass. It also makes premises more burglar resistant, as it is far more difficult to gain entrance through the windows.
The assembly of these products is achieved by bonding various layers of glass and composite materials using PVB, TPU and other advanced polymers autoclaved at high pressure vacuum (12.4 bar) and temperature ranges up to 137 degrees celcius.
